2015 is coming to an end and it is the time when most of us think of new year resolutions. I am no exception and am used to taking resolutions every year, being successful on some and not so successful on others. For 2016, i have decided to take resolutions that are about my mind and heart so that i can drive more purpose to my existence.
Some of the changes i am dabbling with for 2016 are
a) I will remain open ended in my thinking and questioning and never pass judgment on others beliefs as long as it does not hurt me and my family
b) I will only use positive words even in difficult conversations to ensure that i don't create negative energy around me or people i deal with.
c) I will not expect others to change until i feel comfortable that i see the change in myself that i expect from others.
d) I will shower genuine love and care in all my interactions with everyone hoping to radiate positive energy expecting nothing in return
e) I will orient my brain to constantly seek to spend every minute of my time either adding value to me, family or people around me and will refrain from non value adding activities.
As you can see, all these 5 resolutions are about shaping my mind and heart and I am hoping i will be a better person at the end of 2016 than where i am today.
